Baby Tate: Two Months Old

Two Months Old

I am growing so fast mommy can't keep up with my clothes size! I am starting to be more "busy" and awake and naps are more on a schedule along with eating. I now sleep in my crib every night but sometimes for the morning feeds I go in my car seat and mom rocks me back to sleep cause I seem to think it is morning at 530am! I can see people across the room from me and I will follow them as they move around the room. I forgot to tell you that I have been rolling over from my tummy to my back since I was two weeks and now I do it instantly when mommy tries to put me on my tummy cause I still dont like tummy time! I think my belly is too full and it kind of hurts to be on my tummy! I have become more of a happy baby however I still like to surprise anyone that holds me with a mouth full of spit up! I still love to nurse but I tend to get easily distracted while eating if too much is going on. This can hurt mommy...sorry mom! I social smile all the time and mom even said I laughed twice while sleeping so I will be laughing soon she hopes! Today (right at two months) I did good at taking naps in my crib so my big brother can play and not wake me up while we are at home. It give my big brother some mommy and daddy time. I am starting to push up with my feet and stand with help. I move all over the place and am trying to roll over from my back to tummy so maybe next month. I talk and coo alot and to my toys and family. I love talking. My head it getting strong too and I like to move it all over the place sometimes too much and I bump the person's face that is holding me! My tummy is starting to get more use to milk so mommy can now have milk once in awhile but still spit up alot. I have my first huge explosion on the couch and everyone screamed! Reminded mommy of bowling over the pot chili...onto the couch...ooops! I also can see myself in mirrors and I like to smile and talk to myself. If I put out a big pouty lip mommy and daddy pick me up...suckers! he he! My mommy knows my cries though now of when I am starting to get hungry or sleepy but I tend to fight sleep a little cause I would rather stay up and play. 

Dislikes: Still do not like bottles even with boob juice in them so have given up on using those, I dont like my mommy to walk out of the room cause now I can watch her and if I dont hear her I start to wimper, tummy time, bumbo, falling asleep without being held for naps but I am getting better I promise! 

Likes: I love to nurse while falling asleep (I keep thinking it is a traveling pacifier though), music in the car and being sung to, my car seat, swing and crib are my favorite spots in the house. 

 During my seventh week of life my Ma and Granddad drove all the way from Texas to see me for the first time. I let them cuddle and hold me while they were here I even let them watch me while mommy and daddy went on a date. I wasn't happy but I managed and they did good taking care of me while I was pouting.

 I am making all sorts of faces and really social smiling now. I love talking to anyone that will say hi to me!

Two Months Old!

 I have a monkey in this picture and I am starting to kind of like him. I might keep him around for awhile.

 Getting better head control when I am in my bumbo but I still dont like it for more than five minutes!

Baby Tate: One Month Old!

One Month Old

I am now one month old and I can lift my head, I follow sound when I hear it with my eyes, I am starting to smile and I eat every 2-3 hours during the night. I sleep next to mommy in my Moses basket but I am rather noisy cause I grunt alot. I spit up tons and have a milk intolerance so mommy has been nice enough to stay away from milk and ice cream while my tummy gets stronger. I am a good nurser and I love to be held especially by mom. I am not a fan of the pacifier or bottle! I am a big boy and gain about 1oz every day. My doctor says I am going to be about 6 feet 2 inches tall when I grow up! 

Dislikes: Bottles, tummy time, being wiped when I spit up, being swaddled, sitting in bumbo, formula is disgusting when mama tried to give it to me

Likes: Love swinging, like my carseat especially sleeping in it, being held, going outside, the ergo, moses basket at night

Do I look like my older brother? 

 I sleep alot right now at two weeks old. I am keeping mommy busy cause I want to be held all the time and if I am awake I am rather cranky. Still trying to get use to being on the outside!

I am lifting my head more and getting chunky! Look at all my rolls on my leg! I still have alot of cranky moments at three weeks but mommy is starting to manage and handle it easier. Aren't my little hands cute? 

 I am starting to like my pacifier a little and my sissy loves holding me however my big brother thinks I am rather heavy lately!

 Smiling! I just smile whenever I want right now it hasn't become a social smile yet.

One month old!

Easter 2013

Not a lot to say just a lot of pictures from our Easter weekend!! Hunter never ate so much candy before! Both kids enjoyed themselves and the weather was just awesome! Hunter literally got his blanket and dog and almost took a nap in the yard after our last adventure. No nap for two dad ad very busy and active days can make anyone exhausted!

 

All tuckered out and ready for a nap...we left soon after and he crashed fast in the car and is taking a nap in Daddy's arms.
