Baby Tate: One Month Old!

One Month Old

I am now one month old and I can lift my head, I follow sound when I hear it with my eyes, I am starting to smile and I eat every 2-3 hours during the night. I sleep next to mommy in my Moses basket but I am rather noisy cause I grunt alot. I spit up tons and have a milk intolerance so mommy has been nice enough to stay away from milk and ice cream while my tummy gets stronger. I am a good nurser and I love to be held especially by mom. I am not a fan of the pacifier or bottle! I am a big boy and gain about 1oz every day. My doctor says I am going to be about 6 feet 2 inches tall when I grow up! 

Dislikes: Bottles, tummy time, being wiped when I spit up, being swaddled, sitting in bumbo, formula is disgusting when mama tried to give it to me

Likes: Love swinging, like my carseat especially sleeping in it, being held, going outside, the ergo, moses basket at night

Do I look like my older brother? 

 I sleep alot right now at two weeks old. I am keeping mommy busy cause I want to be held all the time and if I am awake I am rather cranky. Still trying to get use to being on the outside!

I am lifting my head more and getting chunky! Look at all my rolls on my leg! I still have alot of cranky moments at three weeks but mommy is starting to manage and handle it easier. Aren't my little hands cute? 

 I am starting to like my pacifier a little and my sissy loves holding me however my big brother thinks I am rather heavy lately!

 Smiling! I just smile whenever I want right now it hasn't become a social smile yet.

One month old!

Chelan : Family Camping Trip

This is our fourth year camping in Chelan for the fourth of July and it was great as always! It was hot and I was 37 weeks pregnant but I managed to have plenty of water source options to keep me cool so wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We stayed 10 days which was the longest we have stayed and it was just enough to get to do all the things we wanted to do. It was good family time that was much needed. Here are some pictures that I put in a slide show. 

Moses Lake Camping Time!

We took our second camping trip of the year for five days, to Moses Lake! I am so glad we got to get out and be together because Colin has been working ALOT! So it made it all worth it when he was able to see the light at the end of the tunnel...this trip! It took us about 6 hours to get there and the kids did great! I was pretty comfortable just had to wear leggings instead of jeans which were tighter.

Working on a craft!

Colin likes to get all decorative with the trailer so here is our Memorial Day decorations. (sorry for the big picture)

I went to the fabric store in town and walked by this parrot and scared me to death! She was rather entertaining and would wave and say hello. I was excited too cause I found baby Tate's fabric here after looking all over the county for it they had it!

I always have some sort of craft for the kids to do while camping. There are "lull" times while camping sometimes so I need to keep them busy! Kylee is making me a stepping stone for the garden! It turned out great!

We enjoyed some pool time even though the actual pool was about 32F. The kids enjoyed the hot tub instead. Kylee had the sun in her eyes in this pic and Hunter is relaxing in the water on his back as daddy helps him float. It was rather cute how comfortable he was just laying on his back chilling in the water.

I found this umbrella hat at the dollar store and we got some pictures of it but then it broke :( Glad it was only $1!

There was a little girl camping a few camp sites down with a big group and she LOVED Hunter or maybe just his truck! haha! They did ride bikes together and he also would drive around the circle in his fire truck then I would see him coming back with a girl in the passenger's seat. ha! She even painted with him for a little while. She was cute but definetly not shy to come join us or go into our trailer.

Hunter decided his fire truck needed a clean! He was very intense about his process and did this for a couple of hours ha!

Marshmellow Shooter time. The kids had fun shooting each other and then smooshing the little marshmellows with their bikes. We did this til dark.

Easter 2013

Not a lot to say just a lot of pictures from our Easter weekend!! Hunter never ate so much candy before! Both kids enjoyed themselves and the weather was just awesome! Hunter literally got his blanket and dog and almost took a nap in the yard after our last adventure. No nap for two dad ad very busy and active days can make anyone exhausted!

 

All tuckered out and ready for a nap...we left soon after and he crashed fast in the car and is taking a nap in Daddy's arms.
